“ The best part of badminton is the passion you feel among players. We’re all so proud of the game we play. Bringing all that passion together will create an energy that propels the sport forward. ”

Case-study
Badminton unshackled in California, through the Legends’ Summer Club League.
There currently is no competitive inter-club league system in California. Many are stuck playing with people within their club and without much opportunity to further challenge their skills by competing with new opponents. An important limit on the potential for the game and the players, to grow larger than the current confines of their club. But that’s about to change.
Commencing May 2020, The Legends’ Summer Club League will hit the courts in California. Participating clubs from Northern and Southern California will compete through a round-robin to tournament style league to determine the best club team on the West Coast. The 4 teams that advance into the semi-finals, will be mentored by one of the Legends to hone their skills before they compete in the final during the US Open at the end of June.
In future years, the aim is to expand the league beyond California and into a nation-wide league.
